CRIMINAL MINDS: This crime drama is a series but has an element of serial as the detective also have their own story lines, it is a fast pace show where they do not rely on DNA, but rely on databases in order to find the criminal.
SHERLOCK: Sherlock is an intelligent detective who solves crimes by using his own mind, who has a trusty sidekick who helps him uncover some of the clues. They work as a team, the series has a serial element to it also. It has an old-fashioned sense of solving crimes as it does not use technology to figure out who comitted the crime.
CSI: MIAMI: This is a series of a fast-pace crime drama with a detective team of around 8 people, who use DNA technology to figure out all of the crimes, it is a very glamerous glossy programme which an audience does not need to watch the whole series to understand.
